VANUATU LEADERS CALL FOR THE IMMEDIATE RELEASE OF GERMAN LAWYER DETAINED OVER COVID-RELATED ACTIVITIES

·

In a bold and heartfelt statement, two senior political figures from Vanuatu have joined the growing international outcry for the release of Dr. Reiner Fuellmich — a German lawyer known globally for his opposition to COVID-19 restrictions and pharmaceutical overreach.

Hon. Andrew Napuat, Vanuatu’s Minister of Internal Affairs, and Member of Parliament John Salong have issued a public plea, calling on world leaders and institutions to intervene in what they describe as an unjust incarceration.

“I want to call on the international community, governments, and leaders, to demand the International Court of Justice (…) to intervene and free Dr. Reiner Fuellmich,” said Minister Napuat. “It is important that we collaborate, that we all come together (…) and demand that Dr. Reiner Fuellmich be released from prison and for him to continue with the good work that he is doing: to save the lives of humanity, around the world.”

Echoing this call, MP John Salong emphasized Fuellmich’s role in giving Vanuatu a voice during a time of global silence:

“I’m recalling that Reiner Fuellmich, who is a very important lawyer for us at a time where we were being restricted and we could not speak, and we were being threatened that we would be put in jail, we got the opportunity to appear in front of the Grand Jury investigation to present the case of Vanuatu (…)
It is an absolute necessity that we get Reiner Fuellmich out of jail (…) so that he can put this case in the courts of law, so that the courts of law can decide whether or not the oppression that we all suffered had any scientific basis.”

WHY IS REINER FUELLMICH IN CUSTODY?

Reiner Fuellmich, a prominent German trial attorney, was arrested in 2023 and is currently detained in Germany. He is reportedly facing charges related to allegations of fraud and embezzlement within the Corona Investigative Committee — an organization he co-founded to explore governmental and pharmaceutical responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Supporters argue the charges are politically motivated, tied to his outspoken stance against lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and global health authorities. They claim his detention is an attempt to silence dissent and prevent the continuation of legal actions challenging the official pandemic narrative.

Meanwhile, German authorities maintain that the charges are criminal in nature, not political — citing alleged financial misconduct within the committee.

A GLOBAL CALL FROM A PACIFIC NATION

This public show of support from Vanuatu’s top leadership places the Pacific Island nation among the few governments willing to question the motives behind Fuellmich’s detention. The statements, shared online by activist Djamila le Pair (@Djuggling), are rapidly gaining traction across international civil liberty groups.

As calls for transparency and justice grow louder, the voices from Vanuatu add powerful momentum to the global campaign to free Reiner Fuellmich.
