FruitFest 2025: Vanuatu’s Biggest Celebration of Fruits, Culture & Music

·

The countdown is on for FruitFest 2025, a three-day extravaganza set to light up Port Vila, Vanuatu from 8–10 October 2025. Hosted by Pikinini Bar and proudly supported by the Department of Tourism Vanuatu, this festival promises to be the country’s most vibrant celebration of tropical fruits, island culture, and unforgettable live music.

A Festival Rooted in Vanuatu’s Rich Agricultural Heritage

FruitFest was created to honour local farmers, promote agritourism, and inspire people to embrace healthy living through fruits. Visitors will experience an interactive showcase of seasonal produce—from juicy watermelons and pineapples to bananas, mangoes, and coconuts—while learning about their nutritional power and economic importance.

Highlights include:

  • Panel discussions on fruit farming, supply chains, e-commerce, and entrepreneurship.
  • Educational sessions revealing the vitamins and nutrients in each fruit and how they benefit the body.
  • Workshops on growing fruits out of season and transporting them between islands.

Fun Competitions & Community Spirit

FruitFest isn’t just about learning—it’s about fun and participation.
Get ready for:

  • Smoothie Competitions with exciting cash prizes ranging from 5,000 VUV to 45,000 VUV.
  • Interactive fruit tastings and cooking demonstrations.
  • Street celebrations with the entire festival area pedestrian-only for three days, giving visitors a safe, open space to relax and enjoy.
