FruitFest 2025 – Day 2 Program: Smoothie Competitions, Garden Talks & Ksie Live Tonight!

PORT VILA – It’s another exciting day at FruitFest 2025 as activities continue at Fatumaru Bay, with a full program celebrating Smart Farming, Healthy Living, and Stronger Tourism.

Today’s lineup blends education, creativity, and entertainment, starting early with Kava Vine updates (8:00–9:00 AM) and a Backyard Gardening session by Ta Vai Peri-Urban Backyard (9:00–9:30 AM), followed by an M-Vatu session connecting vendors and farmers.

At 10:00 AM, a key panel discussion will explore how healthy lifestyles can be integrated into education and markets — setting the tone for the day’s theme of wellness and sustainability.

From 11:00 AM, the spotlight turns to the School Smoothie Competition, featuring students from Malapoa, Epauto, and Onesua. Then, enjoy the Free Fruit Smoothie and Watermelon Splash Happy Hour (12:00–12:30 PM) before the next big panel discussion (12:30–1:30 PM) on Expanding the fruit sector through agritourism and agribusiness.

The afternoon brings the second round of School Smoothie Competitions (1:30–2:30 PM) with Lycee, Tebakor, and Pikinini Playtime, followed by the Open Smoothie Category (2:30–4:00 PM) for adults — featuring mixed-gender teams competing for the most creative tropical blend.

Festival-goers can join fun activities from 4:00–5:00 PM, including fruit-tasting quizzes and fruit puzzles with prizes, before the M-Vatu Booth Live Broadcast (5:00–5:30 PM) featuring vendor talks and updates.
